Mission Statements
A mission statement is a concrete, action-oriented, statement of purpose around which all the activities of the coalition are centered. A mission statement addresses a coalition’s identity questions: (1) who are you, (2) what are you going to do, and for whom, (3) how can I help? Mission statements also serves as a powerful rallying cry to establish unity and action.
