Management

Management refers to the overall rules of operation and the administration of an organization. Good management starts with good planning. A coalition’s strategic plan lays out its mission and goals, taking into account the coalition’s social and political context and available resources, and ensures its organizational stability. Based on these components, a unique governing infrastructure can be set in place to organize, direct, and monitor the coalition’s progress. Thus, by clearly defining and consistently utilizing its infrastructure, a coalition will be able to make necessary changes while keeping its vision, objectives, and goals on track.
